Overview & Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Lexus or a compact car? - 2016 Lexus RX 350
By Maggie-M - May 21 - 8:20 pmThis is the third RX I have owned. My first 2004 then a 2010. Love the new exterior of the 2016. That being said there are a few things I do not like. I chose the F-Sport because of the grill and over-all sporty look. When you accelerate the noise of the transmission is not smooth, but very loud. It is a noise as if you are in a compact car, not a Lexus. Another feature I miss may not be of much importance to most, but is one have become accustomed to. The driver side cup-holder in the dash is gone. I am averaging 17mpg but I have been using the s sport mode so I expect it to not be as good.

Good car but not for me - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By holltol - April 17 - 8:10 pmIts a good car but not for me. Seat is not comfortable at all (6ft tall) too small seat and gave me backpain even had lumber support. Useless armrest. Not good air filter for cabin. I would only recommend this car for the driver who would enjoy smooth driving, superior customer service, clean dealership and smaller height person.

happy but not over the top - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By tom - January 11 - 4:10 ami have none of the quality issues and exterior is great looking but coming from 2007 its definitely more trucklike which i dont mind because i need the extra space.. a/c power plugs are ridiculously located.. i assume some japanese engineer is deeply shamed over this.. fuel economy is not what they say.. seats are fine.. i cant figure why people are complaining.. dealership is great, usb for the ipod great..i am totally fine with the car

Lexus needs help in some areas - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By don skaggs - December 27 - 9:13 pmThe remote start on the 2010 RX is a nuisance as when it is remote stated and the door is opened to drive, the engine dies. It should be like the domestic remote start. When the door is opened the engine does not die on the domestics. Also, this vehicle should have dual exhaust to make it more sportier.

Not quite perfect - 2009 Lexus RX 350
By Lexus Loyalist - December 17 - 1:00 pmHaving traded my gas-hog GX for a new RX, I am pretty happy overall. The car is comfortable, sufficiently powerful, and endowed with some features that the GX didnt have (such as HID headlamps that swivel, a power liftgate, and fold-flat second row seats). But I am a bit disappointed at the rattling sunroof shade and another rattle emanating from the right front dashboard area. I try to remind myself that Im getting better mileage to counteract the annoyance. But after driving only 300 miles so far, I hope this doesnt foretell a future of other things going wrong.

Review of RX 350 AWD - 2009 Lexus RX 350
By Paul Williamson - December 14 - 1:13 amPurchased the Lexus a two months ago and to date we have enjoyed the vehicle. Have owned MBs and Volvos for years and decided to try a Lexus. Doesnt handle as well as European vehicles. It appears to be solid and I suspect will be more reliable than the European SUVs in the long run. With only 4,000 miles on the vehicle we are averaging around 19 MPG city and 24 MPG hwy which, I think, is excellent for such a heavy vehicle. Exhibits excessive body roll in curves and to much wind noise with sun roof in tilt position. Navigation system is not as intuitive as my Garmin. Excellent sound system. Seats are form fitting but not up to par with Volvo seats. Excellent cruising vehicle.

Not up to snuff - 2007 Lexus RX 350
By Martha - November 10 - 7:33 pmLooked at many SUVs including X5 & 3, Q7, Volvo, etc. and figured this would be the best bang for the buck - its a Lexus, its gotta be good, right? This model seems to have issues. There is a rattle that appeared right away that comes from the steering column (or dash, not sure), interior quality is not great, brakes are spongy, etc. The dealer recognizes that the rattle noise is strange but played it down saying until Lexus Corp. says otherwise, the party line is that "this is normal". The new engine for the 350 is noisy, sounds like a decent diesel engine but this is a gas engine! Im conflicted because I want to like it but at 800 miles Im already thinking about selling.

Good but not so good... - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By Bpans - October 28 - 4:01 amThis is a very comfy luxury SUV. If you expect driving engagement, you will be disappointed. The interior materials are of very high quality. We do not like the mouse control as it is too distracting and doesnt work properly. Long drives never feel like long drives such a comfy drive.

Shoulda kept the Cadillac - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By BigBen - September 19 - 3:13 amI just traded my 2006 Cadillac DTS for a Lexus RX 350. The Lexus is everything I expected, but I miss the Cad. Almost everything is done well and works as designed. Unfortunately, for a Luxury car, it just doesnt ride like a luxury car. The Cad was much better in ride, handling, power, and mileage. I wish now I had bought the Lincoln MKX .
